From Panoramic, 34 floors up the West Tower, to the subterranean chic of The Residence Lounge at Hope Street Hotel, you can be sure of finding a great cocktail in Liverpool.

Liverpool nightlife is all about mixing it up, and Liverpool bars specialise in serving up fantastic cocktails. A night out in the city should leave you feeling very much shaken, if not stirred.

Try a Hendrix 34 or Rum & Raisin Old Fashioned at Panoramic, or even a special Strawberry Fields cocktail at Bar Four at the boutique Hard Day’s Night Hotel – a vodka blend infused with grass from Strawberry Fields itself.

The ice-cool Alma De Cuba, a popular Cuban themed Liverpool bar, has an impressively full cocktail menu too, and on a Friday and Saturday you can also indulge in a bit of a sexy samba.

Other Liverpool bars specialising in cocktails include The Restaurant Bar and Grill, which has an excellent range of classic cocktails, or hop across the road to The Noble House for everything from a Honolulu Cooler to a Ginger Swizzle. Not too far away in the commercial quarter is The Living Room which also serves the more usual cocktails and lovely summery mixes such as a Watermelon Martini.

You can also get a cocktail at Palm Sugar Lounge in Liverpool ONE, a decidedly glamorous joint next door to popular Thai restaurant Chaophraya. And Sakara, in Exchange Flags, is another fab sun-drenched spot for a delicious cocktail. Or two.
