Located on Southport’s elegant Promenade, the stunning and versatile Southport Theatre & Convention Centre is a short walk from the resort’s accommodation, dining and leisure facilities – making the venue a perfect choice for the conference organiser.

Following the completion of a major £40 million investment programme, the Southport Theatre & Convention Centre are now able to offer additional exhibition and meeting space, an enhanced technical specification, upgraded and improved original facilities and greater accessibility throughout, together with direct conference access to a brand new hotel and business centre.

The award-winning customer service personnel provide a friendly and efficient service and the in-house catering team and multiple bar and food points offer a flexible delegate experience.

As one would expect from a professional conference centre, the technical specification is of an excellent standard and most audio-visual packages can be built in-house to reflect the needs of the event by an experienced and dedicated team offering full support and unparalleled service for every event.

The new facilities also include:

o Theatre - 1631 raked seat, two-tier theatre auditorium with eight backstage VIP rooms and flat stage accommodating 80 persons.

o Floral Hall – 1000sqm of versatile flat space and terrace including raked stage accommodating 40 persons and a Green Room for VIP stage access.

o Exhibition Hall – 1000sqm of flat floor multi-use space, which can be configured into six separate syndicate or private meeting rooms.

o A wide range of rooms suitable for use both as syndicate rooms and for smaller events.

The Southport Theatre & Convention Centre actively works to promote accessibility for all and provision for delegates with disabilities includes lift access to all areas and an Infra Red Sennheiser system for the hard of hearing.
