Slavery Trail Walking Tours
Laurence Westgaph, a Liverpool historian and writer on the city's role in the slave trade, has compiled an audio trail which you can download and transfer to a portable mp3 player to enjoy on your visit to the city. On his tour, he takes you on a tour of buildings and places of interest related to this subject. A downloadable map accompanies the tour.
The tour takes around an hour to complete, passing points of interest and places where you can stop for refreshments so feel free to break your tour to find out more about the buildings that are open to the public or to enjoy Liverpool cafe culture.
