The Liverpool City Region offers a variety of food and drink events throughout the year.

Our region hosts some fantastic food events, 2010 is the Year of Food in Wirral with a great series of events over the year. Other events for your diary:

- Liverpool Food and Drink Festival from 12- 18 September
- Hope Street Feast on Sunday 19 September
- Wirral Food and Drink Festival on 29-30 August

We also have regular Farmers Markets in various venues in Liverpool and Wirral. These markets give both locals and visitors, a taste of local, selling everything from cheeses to home-grown vegetables.
