Taste Liverpool

Wondering where to eat in the Liverpool City Region?

Then check out the Taste Liverpool quality scheme for restaurants throughout the Liverpool City Region, promoted by The Mersey Partnership Tourist Board and Quality in Tourism. There are already more than 40 on board.

The partnership recognises the importance of the food and drink industry to the Liverpool City Region and developed it to give acknowledgement to those establishments who provide a consistently high quality eating experience.

Trained national assessors make a "mystery visit" to the restaurant, and report on the following areas:

  • Exterior & public areas
  • Cleanliness
  • Bar & Restaurant
  • Hospitality
  • Service & Efficiency
  • Food
  • Use of Local Produce

Each participating restaurant receives a written report, and an overall score.
