Liverpool by Car

Liverpool City Region is located on the west coast of England and is easily accessible from the M6 the city is easily reached via the M58, M56 and M62 motorways.

Liverpool city centre is approximately 45 minutes' drive from Chester, Manchester and North Wales. It is just over 1 hour from Blackpool, the Lake District, the Yorkshire Moors and the Peak District National Parks, and just over 4 hours from London.

Car parking

In Liverpool there are many areas to accommodate the driver, at Liverpool ONE there are three state of the art car parking facilities. One of these car parks is located underneath the Liverpool ONE retail complex with its entrance in the middle of the strand.

Located near the famous ‘Three Graces’ on The Strand, The Capital Car Park offers a safe and secure place to park for nearby hotels as Radisson Blu, Malmaison, Crowne Plaza, Racquet Club and Thistle Hotel.

Queen Square Car Park is a 601 space secure car park which is open 24 hours a day, in the heart of the City, within minutes walk to Liverpool One, City Centre shopping, museums, major theatres, hotels, bars and restaurants.

The Albert Dock has a limited amount of on the dock parking which is metered but has a large car parking facility adjacent to the Echo Arena Liverpool.

Towards to Cathedral quarter and Hope Street there are many on-street parking bags (with meters), however when a show is playing at the Philharmonic or the Everyman then spaces do become scarce.
