Rose Lane

Rose Lane is an old Liverpool road which lies between Mossley Hill Church and Allerton Road in South Liverpool. It is a mixture of houses and shops and in the past had a dairy and carriageworks indicating it's previously semi-rural position.

The Rose of Mossley public house was the only pub in Allerton until about twenty years ago when licensing laws were eased and the rapid development of bars and restaurants started on Allerton Road.

Kinselas was the first retaurant to open in Rose Lane and was an immediate success lying only a quarter of a mile from local Carnatic University Halls of Residences.
