Echo Arena Liverpool

The Liverpool music scene received a major shot in the arm in 2008, Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture, when the Echo Arena Liverpool opened.

The Echo Arena, which sits right on the famous Liverpool Waterfront beside Albert Dock and at the heart of the Kings Dock development, can seat 10,600 concert goers. It is now a world-class venue for massive international acts and bands, as well as acting as host to a string of major events that put Liverpool’s Waterfront and Liverpool itself firmly on the music map.

Acts that have performed at the Echo Arena Liverpool and enriched the Liverpool music scene include Elton John, Bob Dylan and Beyonce, while the Arena has staged a range of events that include the MTV Europe Music Awards, BBC Sports Personality of the Year, Cirque du Soleil and Davis Cup tennis.

There are also a raft of facilities at the Echo Arena, including a 1600-space car park beside it on the Liverpool Waterfront, 22 hospitality boxes, numerous food and drink concessions and two star dressing rooms.
