Haydock Park Racecourse
By Road

Haydock Park Racecourse is situated just one mile from Junction 23 of the M6. Race goers with reserved car park passes and coach parties should enter the course from the A49. The main Car Park is accessed from the A580 East.

By Rail

The nearest train station to Haydock Park Racecourse is Newton-le-Willows on the Manchester (Piccadilly) to Liverpool (Lime Street) line. On the main London-to-Glasgow line, the nearest stations are Warrington and Wigan, which are both approximately eight miles from the racecourse. Mersey Travel provides the Haydock Park Xpress from both Newton-le-Willows and St Helens Central Mersey Rail Stations to Haydock Park Racecourse. Each single journey costs £1.00 per person and buses run for 2 hours prior to the first race with return buses leaving from the end of the penultimate race, until 1 hour after the start of the last race.

By Public Transport

Visitors can travel to the racecourse by Bus using the following services: the 620 (Ashton to Haydock) and the 320 (St Helens to Wigan). For journey times please call 0870 608 2608.

 

Aintree Racecourse
By Road

Aintree Racecourse is located on the A59, just one mile from the M57 and M58, which link the M62 and M6. As you approach the racecourse, AA Signs will direct you to the free on-course car parks.

By Rail

The easiest way to reach Aintree is by train. The nearest mainline station to Aintree is Liverpool Lime Street. Liverpool Central Station is just a short walk from Lime Street, where you can catch a train to Aintree. Aintree Station is directly opposite the racecourse.
