Racing at Aintree Racecourse, home of the John Smith's Grand National is always a special occasion and NorthWest Racing Masters weekend is no exception. For 2007, Aintree will be adding a taste of the festive season for all the family to its raceday (totesport Becher Chase day) on Sunday 23th November with festive fayre the theme of the day.
Father Christmas will be stopping off at the racecourse during his busy season, and with Christmas carols and festive food shopping, there's no better start to the build up to Christmas than a day out at the races with all the family.
Totesport Becher Chase day is the second and final day of the Northwest Racing Masters weekend and with two races over the famous Grand National fences in the Grand Sefton Chase and totesport Becher Chase, there's no need to wait until the Grand National at Aintree to experience the thrills of racing over the Grand National course. Now firmly viewed as trial for the prestigious John Smith's Grand National in April, the Becher Chase attracts many of Jump racing's stars for what is a great winter warming weekend.
