Thornton Manor

None

In 1893 William Hesketh Lever purchased Thornton manor, a house in the gothic revival style dating from the 1840's. In the years 1896 - 1897 the house was completely rebuilt.

Today, cottages, mewses and beautiful bedrooms are available at Thornton Manor. Whether after a function or wedding, or simply for a relaxing few days, you can spend a perfect night's sleep in quality beds and take a leisurely stroll through the exquisitely landscaped park land and gardens. Cottages and mewses sleep 1-12; prices start from £165/night.

For weddings, the Elizabethan style exterior of the house makes the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs with acres of landscaped gardens for your exclusive use. The Music room is the ideal setting for a wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. Why not make use of some of the 25 bedrooms available for the wedding party to complete the day as Lord and Lady of the Manor.

The house itself makes an ideal location for all corporate events, from conferences to product launches. The music room can cater for up to 200 delegates with many smaller meeting rooms available.
