Summer City Walks: The Liverpool Culture Company in conjunction with the city's qualified Blue and Green badge Guides is launching a series of summer city walks based around the events which have taken place in this, the first year since Liverpool achieved the status of European Capital of Culture 2008.

These cultural walks focus on Literary liverpool, Maritime, Mercantile City, Walks of Fame and Faith in One City. And, for the brave, we offer our Liverpool Murder Trail.

Tickets are available in advance from Queen Square Tourism Information Centre or on the day from your guide at a price of £3.00.

Faith in One City: Discover the sites of Faith in the city both Secular and Religious significance.

Walks of Fame: Liverpool has been awarded the title "World Capital of Pop" by the Guinness Book of Hit Singles. The wall of Fame in Mathew Street celebrates the city's musical achievements.

Liverpool Murder Trail: Follow the Liverpool murder trails, the famous Maybrick case and the city's links with Jack the Ripper.

Literary Liverpool: Discover the poetry, plays and prose that have put Liverpool on the literary map amongst elegant Victorian architecture and world famous waterfront.

Helen Forrester: Follow in the footsteps of the Liverpool Miss from Lime Street Station to Princes Road.

Maritime, Mercantile City: Liverpool is the United Kingdom's sole nomination in 2003 as a UNESCO world Heritage Site of unique importance. Visit the places and learn about the people associated with the cultural and seafaring life of the city.
