Go Superlambananas
16 June - 26 Aug 08. Up to 100 Superlambananas, one of Liverpool's most iconic and best-loved pieces of public art - originally, created by Taro Chiezo for Arts Transpennine in 1998-will be painted, decorated and adorned by local and regional artists, community groups and celebrities. Southport Airshow
6-7th Sept 08: Southport Airshow is recognised as the North West's largest Airshow and this fantastic family event attracts up to 150,000 spectators over two days. More information
British Musical Firework Championships
3-5th Oct 08: The event is one of Southport's most spectacular, a competition providing a visual feast of entertainment for thousands of spectators over one weekend. More information
Truckfest Northwest
13-14th Sept 08: Truckfest North West mixes live action entertainment with displays featuring hundreds of incredible vehicles, famous celebrity guests and much more. More information
