Sailing enthusiasts will want to set immediate sail for Liverpool this summer to celebrate Liverpool’s maritime jubilee. The arrival of the Tall Ships’ fleet will trigger a four-day free maritime spectacular on the World Heritage waterfront. You’re sure to be with like-minded spectators, as up to a million people are expected to line the banks of the River Mersey to see the start of the Tall Ships’ Races.<br /> <br />Around 100 tall Ships and more than 2000 crew from all over the world will take part. Scores of vessels - square riggers, schooners, brigs, brigantines, ketches, yawls, cutters and sloops - will be berthed in the city's historic Albert and Central Docks for four days before the race starts.<br />
