ACC Liverpool is a landmark regeneration project on the outstanding Mersey River Waterfront sited next to the famous grade one listed Albert Dock.
Designed by the award winning architects Wilkinson Eyre and costing £146 million, ACC Liverpool houses the versatile Convention Centre - with a 1,350 seat auditorium, 18 breakout rooms and up to 7000m2 of exhibition space - as well as the Liverpool Echo Arena capable of seating 10,600 concert goers.
It is also one of the most sustainable venues in Europe - designed to produce half the CO2emissions of traditional building the same size.
The project has been funded by the European Objective One programme North West Regional Development Agency, English Partnerships and Liverpool City Council. Urban regeneration company Liverpool Vision is co-ordinating its development.
