The storming launch night party with local heroes Shack (Thursday 18th September 2003) triggered a taste of things to come and a spectacular diary of events. Ladytron, Violent Delight, The Wannadies, Elbow, Kosheen, The Thrills, Killing Joke Athlete, Electric Soft Parade, Blondie, Lamb, Inspiral Carpets and Melanie C all played exceptional headline gigs in that opening Autumn season.
