The Cavern Club

The world famous Cavern Club is a must-see for music fans visiting Liverpool

The Cavern Club first opened as a jazz club in 1957 and became world famous when The Beatles performed here almost 300 times in the early 1960’s.

Today, the Cavern is one of Liverpool’s top venues with two stages, state of the art sound system and a variety of music on offer including Beatles tribute shows, unsigned showcase nights, solo acoustic acts and cover bands. Details of all live music events are on www.cavernclub.org.

The club is open daily from 11am and is free entry until early evening most days. Families with children are welcome to visit the club during the day. The bar has a good range of drinks to choose from and our souvenir shop has exclusive Cavern merchandise including t-shirts, CDs and books.

The Cavern is featured on the computer game The Beatles: Rock Band which is introducing the music of the Fab Four to a whole new generation of fans.

The venue is available for private hire for corporate events and is ideal for a conference social event, party or product launch.
