Home > What to Do in Liverpool City Region > Cavern Club [Beatles]
The Cavern Club opened as a jazz club in 1957 and became world famous when
The Beatles performed here no less than 292 times in the early 1960s. Today’s Cavern, reconstructed using the original bricks and built on the same
site, opened in 1984.
The Cavern Club is a 'must-see' for Beatles fans and
it's still one the best venues in Liverpool to watch live music. The live
music programme offers a wide range from tribute to contemporary - catch a
performance most nights at the club and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
afternoons.
