The Liverpool Medical Institution was built in 1837 and is a Grade II* listed building. It is home to the medical learned society and library which was founded in 1779 and was governed by the Royal Charter. The building was restored in 1998 and is not usually open to the public. There will be two tours held at 10am and 2pm on Saturday 20th September only. To book a place on one of the tours please call 0151 709 9125.
