Sherdley Park Golf Course

Large urban park boasting one of the best municipal 18 hole golf courses & driving ranges in the North West, formal garden areas, open woodland, ponds, children's play areas, pets corner, & summer events.

Opened in 1974, Sherdley Park Golf Course is one of the top 'pay and play' courses in the North West. Due to its popularity it is recommended that you book up to 6 days in advance, by calling the Customer Service Desk/ Pro Shop on 01744 813149.

The undulating 18 hole parkland course is open daily from first light until dusk and bookings are accepted from 6.30am midweek and 6.00am at weekends during the summer months.

The golf course measures 5912 yards, par 71 and provides a challenge to golfers of all abilities.

The customer service desk offers a selection of golf equipment, refreshments and golf club hire.

If you are just starting out, or trying to improve, there is a resident PGA professional who can help you improve.

A clubhouse operated by Shedley Park Golf Club offers the opportunity for refreshments and catering.

Road Directions

From St.Helens town centre, take the A570 Linkway to Sherdley Park.

From the M62, exit at junction 7 and take the A570 Linkway north towards Sherdley Park.
