We are a lovely intimate 80 seater venue, recycled seating, (The Floral Pavillion in New Brighton kindly donated the seats as they were re-furbishing). We have already hosted "Two" by Jim Cartwright, Stand up Comedy nights, Variety shows for the over 60's, Music Hall, a fantastic BBC interview between Ricky Tomlinson and Ken Dodd as part of his birthday celebrations and forthcoming events include "Shirley Valentine", John Gorman, an new play about "Arthur Askey" and community theatre.
The Liverpool academy of arts building still boasts the fact that Arthur Dooley's workshop is still in the basement and the rest of the building is given over to the arts of all description, painters, performers, vocal teachers etc..
So if you want a good night's entertainment or you would like to hire the venue please ring 0151 709 9034 or 07926658302 and speak to either Pauline or Paul.
