Set beneath the streets of Liverpool, re-live the times of 1940's Britain with an insight into the life and works of the Wrens and
Waafs working under constant pressure in the original area command headquarters for The Battle of the Atlantic.

Visit a re-construction of the 50,000 sq ft labyrinth of rooms on the original site which brings a dramatic period of history vividly to life.

Open everyday except Friday and Sunday.

Please note: The Bunker is open seasonally from March - November however special arrangements can be made for group bookings during the winter months.

Road Directions

Exit the M62 at jct 4, follow the city centre sign on Edge Lane (A5047).
Edge Lane will change into Mount Vernon, then Pembroke Rd. Pembroke Rd will change into London Rd stay on London Rd till it ends. Turn Right onto Churchhill Way (Elevated Rd) stick to the left hand Lane. This road turns into Dale St, then Water St. Rumford St is situated on your right.
