Home > Your priceless Liverpool events guide > After Eight: Ian Prowse
Ian Prowse began his recording career back in 1991 with Polydor records with his band Pele and has recently released the sixth album of his career with his current band Amsterdam. The latest album, Arm in arm, features Irish legend Christy Moore and has received the best reviews of his Prowse's career so far.
Amsterdam have also just recorded a duet with Elvis Costello which appears on the Liverpool Number One's album. Indeed the likes of Costello, Mick Jones, the late John Peel and many others are all memebers of the celebrity Amsterdam fan club.
This is a one off chance to hear songs from the entirety of Prowse's extensive canon and hear the stories behind them.
