One of Antony Gormley’s best-loved works of art returns to St.Helens, the town where it was created 15 years ago. Field for the British Isles, comprising 40,000 clay figurines, won the prestigious Turner Prize in 1994.
Antony Gormley is renowned for his distinctive representations of the human form, including the “Angel of the North” in Gateshead and “Another Place” at Crosby Beach in Sefton.
Field for the British Isles will be shown in a specially constructed space within the foyer of St.Helens College.
