Babul and the Blue Bear

Hip hop and theatre are coming head-to-head in a bold new production which is guaranteed to capture the imaginations of young people.

'Babul and the Blue Bear' is a new commission by the Liverpool Culture Company, and created by theatre company '20 Stories High'. It brings the worlds of rap, theatre, 'grime' music, body-popping, mask and puppetry together to tell contemporary tales in a bold dynamic and exhilarating way.

The exciting new production explores themes of cultural identity, divided loyalties, racial tension and belonging in a multi-cultural Britain.

'Babul and the Blue Bear' will tour Liverpool venues from 1 October to 30 November 2008.
