BBC Electric Proms

In 2008, Liverpool becomes the first city outside London to host the BBC Electric Proms.

Bringing together the best new and established live music performers, past festivals have have featured artists like Sir Paul McCartney, Mark Ronson, Damon Albarn and Kaiser Chiefs.

Securing the festival in Capital of Culture year is a major coup for the city and yet another reason why Liverpool is set to be capital of music in 2008.

BBC Proms comes to various venues across Liverpool from 22-26 October.
