Twelve emerging theatre companies from across the globe journey to Hope Street to perform in one extraordinary festival.
After a year of exchanges and collaborations, companies from Berlin, Bethlehem, Gdansk, Istanbul, Kathmandu, Liverpool, London, Lusaka, Manchester, Mumbai, New York and Rio de Janeiro will all arrive in Liverpool to perform brand news shows, run workshops and animate the streets.
Contacting the World 2008 has been created for Liverpool's Capital of Culture year by Contact, working with unity. Supported by the Liverpool Culture Company, Arts Council England, British Council and the Granada Foundation.
