Free Thinking Festival Presented by BBC Radio 3 and Radio Merseyside

Debate, performance, talks, provocation, humour, surprise - this festival of ideas returns for a third year.

The major theme of ’08 isHuman Futures, part of the year long programme in FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) exploring shifting boundaries and ideas around My Body,My Mind and My World. Expect to hear leading thinkers fromthe arts, sciences, philosophy, politics and new technology, plus music and specially commissioned drama amidst lectures, debates and events inviting active audience participation.

There will be plenty of ways to get involved during the weekend and in advance online.
Free Thinking is recorded for broadcast and can be heard again online for seven days after broadcast.
