This year's Heritage Open Days offer 6 different Regional Themed Tours across the whole Liverpool City Region. They take place on 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st September as half or full day tours.

1. Tour: Innovation and Industry Tour
- Saturday, 13th September
Half day on a Coach from Selwyns Travel

10am Meeting Point: George's Dock Way / Mann Island
The tour takes you to
- Catalyst Museum (Halton)
- World of Glass (St.Helens)
and at 1 .30pm : Tour of George's Dock Building Ventilation Station (tours limited to 18 people)

The Bus will then go to St George's Hall so that anyone who didn’t have a chance to do the tunnel tour due to limited access can carry on to do a tour of St George's

2. Tour: Grand Designs Tour
- Saturday, 13th September
Half day on a Heritage Bus from Merseyside Transport Trust

2.00pm Meeting point: St George's Hall
The tour takes you to
- Fort Perch Rock (the journey to the next stop will pick up Liverpool Dock Wall and architecture on the way)
- St Monica’s Church, Bootle
and at 5.30pm you are back to St George's Hall

3. Tour: Capital of Cultures Tour
- Sunday, 14th September
Full day tour on a Coach from Selwyns Travel

10am Meeting point: St George's Hall
The tour takes you to
- St John's Gardens
- Prescot
- St Peter's Church & Chloe Gambia
- Port Sunlight & free time for a lunch break
- Lady Lever
- Journey via Liscard Hall & Dock Road
- Allerton Hall & coffee break
and at 5.30pm you are back to St George's Hall.

4. Tour: Where do you think you are "Mystery Tour"
- Sunday, 14th September
Full day coach tour on Heritage Bus from Merseyside Transport Trust

If you have got an adventurous spirit, then this is a tour for you! You won't know where you are going until you get there!

10am Meeting point: St George's Hall and at 5.30pm you are back to St George's Hall.

5. Tour: Sacred Sites
- Saturday, 20th September
Full day on a Heritage Bus from Merseyside Transport Trust

10.00am Meeting Point: St George's Hall
The tour takes you to
- Birkenhead Priory
- Our lady, Star of the Sea Church - Seaforth
- Prescot Church - free time for a lunch break
- Norton Priory Museum & Gardens
- Daresbury Church
and at 5.30pm you are back to St George's Hall

6. Tour: Great Outdoors
- Sunday, 21st September
Full day on a Coach from Selwyns Travel

10am Meeting point: St George's Hall
The tour takes you to
- Birkenhead Park
- Hesketh Park & free time for a lunch break
- Taylor Park
- Wigg Island
- Court Hey Park
and at 5.30pm you are back to St George's Hall
