Haydock Park is the North West's premier dual purpose racecourse located half way between Liverpool and Manchester, just off junction 23 of the M6 motorway. Haydock Park offers an excellent choice of top-class fixtures over the jumps and flat throughout the year, giving every opportunity to experience the excitement of a day at the races.
Haydock Park is the most visited racecourse in the country, offering first class racing all year round with the, Red Square Vodka Gold Cup in February, The Rose of Lancaster Stakes in August, The Betfred Sprint Cup in September and Lester Piggott Day at the end of September aswell as the exciting jump race, the North West Masters in November. It is also an excellent venue for other events, exhibitions, conferences, dinner dances, Christmas Parties, & weddings.

It is also easy to see why Haydock Park has become a leading conference centre in the North West, with a range of first-class suites that can accommodate 2 to 500 guests, all set in 127 acres of beautiful parkland.

With facilities to suit every requirement from the very best in private hospitality suites and restaurants to our silver ring you need look no further. The boxes and luncheon rooms in the Tommy Whittle Stand are the ideal facility for entertaining small parties. Larger parties of up to 400 can be accommodated in the Park Suite.
Visitors who wish to dine in a restaurant have the choice of the Lancaster Suite on the ground floor of the Centenary Stand in the County Enclosure, Harry's Bistro in the Premier Enclosure overlooking the course from the second floor, the Centenary Stand and the Park Suite from the second floor of the Makerfield Stand and the Jubilee Bistro on the ground floor of the Tommy Whittle Stand.

Road Directions

Haydock Park is one mile from the M6 jct 23, giving easy access throughout the North West on the M6, M56, M61, M62, M58 & the A580 road linking Manchester & Liverpool.

Public Transport Directions

Main line rail stations at Wigan & Warrington, branch line stations at St.Helens, Ashton-in-Makerfield & Newton-Le-Willows & bus routes running from most of the locations listed above stopping at the end of the Racecourse drive.

On Saturday & Sunday race days the Haydock Park Xpress bus service from Merseytravel provides a direct bus link from St.Helens Central & Newton-le-Willows railway stations to Haydock Park Racecourse. Busses run for 2 hours before the start of the first race, until 1 hour after the start of the last race.
