The Bluecoat Literature Festival

Readings, debates, book launches, performances,workshops and other activities bring writing to TheBluecoat.

Working closely with national publishers, The Bluecoat will host tours by key national and international writers.

Emerging writers will also be part of the programme, which will include a reflection on Liverpool and its global connections, both historical and contemporary. Amongst writers participating will be those who have a fascination with the impact of the city and of port cities on world culture and world literature.

Expect events to take over every corner of The Bluecoat, with its new arts, eating and drinking spaces, garden and public areas.
