The Wirral Food and Drink Festival 2008 will showcase the best of all things 'Home Grown', bringing together the region's finest producers, restaurants, chefs and farm shops. Taking place over August Bank Holiday weekend at Claremont Farm (Sunday 24th and Monday 25th August) this year's event is not to be missed, with a cheese and wine marquee, celebrity chef demonstrations, a childrens cooking area, live entertainment and much more....
Whats on...
Cains is the Festival's official sponsor once again. The renowned Liverpool brewery will be producing limited edition Festival glasses as well as offering a choice of their famous beers and lagers.
Over 70 producers will be offering an incredible range of regional produce.
This year children will get the chance to learn how to make healthy but fun foods in the specialist children's cookery theatre.

By Car
From either Liverpool or Chester on the M53, leave at junction 4 (signposted Bebington, Bromborough, Clatterbridge, Neston), then at the roundabout take the exit heading towards Clatterbridge and follow the signs to the Festival Parking.
By Bus
Regular buses stop outside Claremont Farm, visit www.merseytravel.gov.uk for information on routes. Spital station is about 10 minutes walk away.
