The Liverpool FC Story

At Liverpool Football Club's interactive museum, The Liverpool FC Story, visitors can discover over 120 years of LFC history and explore football, past and present, with the help of state of the art technology and never seen before displays.

New at the museum, the Steven Gerrard Collection is the former captain's exclusive personal collection of footballing memorabilia for fans to enjoy. Among the items on display are Gerrard's LFC and England shirts, signed opposition shirts, medals, trophies and awards, England caps and match items from Istanbul 2005.

Also at the museum, visitors can take a tour through the Halls of Fame and see areas dedicated to stars of the past and present, see all 5 European Trophies, plus loads more silverware that LFC have won in their illustrious career.

To enhance the experience, every visitor is provided with a multimedia handset with personalised 40 minute commentary by LFC Legend, Phil Thompson, who shares his experience of starting as a fan, becoming a player, then captain, before becoming assistant manager and manager of the world's greatest football family. It also includes player profiles, videos of current LFC heroes in action, historic LFC moments as well as awe-inspiring moments featuring LFC's legendary 12th man - the fans.

To keep the kids entertained, there's interactive games and activities including 'place a penalty' where they can take a penalty at the European Cup final!

Stadium Tours

The Stadium Tour gives fans a taste of Anfield today and of the next chapter of LFC’s history, going behind the scenes inside the new Main Stand.

As part of the new guided tour there’s a chance to take a seat in Klopp’s dug out as well as getting an inside look at some of the never before seen areas of the stand.

Fans will gain a fascinating insight into each one of the four stands and have the opportunity to take a seat in the world famous Spion Kop.

Along the way fans will discover unique tales and behind the scenes stories. Visitors will also be able to follow in the footsteps of their heroes by reliving some of the most defining moments in the Club’s history.

A brand new, fully interactive Anfield Stadium tour will launch in January 2017, once the final finishing touches have been made to the redeveloped Main Stand. The new tours will not only be self-guided – allowing fans to take in the Anfield sights at their leisure – but will also be available in 12 different languages to better accommodate international visitors.
