Liverpool City Region is serviced by an extensive road network which is easy to navigate by car.
To travel to the Wirral Peninsula from Liverpool city centre use one of the Mersey Tunnels or enjoy a drive along the coastal road to Southport. The Silver Jubilee Bridge in Runcorn crosses the River Mersey and Manchester Ship Canal to provide convenient road access to Halton. Knowsley and St.Helens are easily accessible too, both only a short drive from the city centre.

For those transporting visitors by coach, there are over 60 parking bays and pick up/drop off points across Liverpool city centre. Both Liverpool and Southport are both recognised official ‘Coach Friendly’ destinations by the Confederation of Passenger Transport.
