Routes Jukebox

LIMF 2015 is about to set off on a ground-breaking musical exploration of the USA, Jamaica, Ireland and Liverpool as part of the specially curated ‘Routes Jukebox’ project.

The adventure will see LIMF music curator Yaw Owusu, videographer Mark McNulty and producers Jernice Easthope and Bec Greenwood, heading out to the world’s leading musical cities to explore the roots and routes of the music and sounds that have brought Liverpool to its storied height within the music world.

The carefully curated project will centre around a flagship live event curated by Grammy-winning producer Steve Levine, alongside Mark McNulty’s LIMF routes documentary, which will unveil the untold story of what music and cultures influenced Liverpool, its music scene and the direct links with other key music cities.

Music curator Yaw Owusu will be blogging each step of the way, so you can keep track of the team’s journey here at
