About

The Summer of Love 1967 was a time to break free and celebrate creativity. On June 1, 1967 legendary fab four band from Liverpool, The Beatles added their own voice to the era releasing the album SGT Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

To mark this special anniversary, Liverpool has commissioned 13 never-before-seen events, influenced by each track of the album.

Suspended Time by GroupF - Inspired by Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

GroupF - The French team behind the dazzling event at the Olympic and Paralympic open and closing ceremonies since 1992. They have been recognised worldwide for its original pyro projects and on this special event will work with American born Scott Gibbons, one of the most exciting eletronic music composers around, to bring a light festival to the beautiful surroundings of Camp Hill.

Part performance, part storytelling and part pyro display, this will be unlike any event staged before.

The event will begin with a pre event picnic and family experience at 8pm with the display beginning at 10.30pm.
