Knowsley Hall is a magnificent stately home, dating back to 1495 and set within 2,500 acres of a private walled estate which is the ancestral home to The Earl & Countess of Derby. Situated only 7 miles from Liverpool City Centre, Knowsley Hall enjoys easy access to Manchester and Chester and many local attractions including some of the UK’s finest golf courses, premier league football, rugby league and rugby union clubs and the famous Knowsley Safari.
With numerous drawing rooms, a grand State Dining Room and the incredibly romantic Stucco Ballroom as well as manicured lawns, lakes and parkland, there is nowhere quite as magical as Knowsley Hall in the Northwest.
The 17 individually designed bedrooms by The Countess of Derby are luxuriously furnished to the highest standards for your comfort and enjoyment and offer stunning views across the parkland and in the distance, the Liverpool skyline. From your initial contact to your departure, we extend a quality of service to match the exquisite decor of the building to ensure your stay is relaxing and all your needs taken care of. We have an in-house catering team who specialise in food of the highest quality and can cater to your unique requirements.
Knowsley Hall can be exclusively hired for a wide variety of events, such as weddings, conferences, team building days, award ceremonies, product launches, exclusive dinners and private stays.
The award winning Chill Out Spa is located within the gated walls of the Knowsley Estate where you can relax and enjoy treatments from manicures to massages and facials. Relaxation rooms and a hydro-pool make this a haven of calm.
The Hall is open to the public for one week every year for guided tours, where visitors can explore the exquisite interiors and learn about the fascinating and illustrious history of Knowsley Hall and the Earl’s of Derby.
