About

Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, this hotel temporarily is closed. Please visit their website for full information.

Hope Street Hotel was voted, in its opening year, as one of the worlds 50 coolest hotels 2004 by Condé Nast Traveller.

The original warehouse was built around 1860 in a style of the day - the Venetian Palazzo.  In 2003 it was rescued, renovated,  refurbished and designed by a local team who still operate it today.  The hotel is in the middle of  Hope Street,  the epicentre of the fashionable Georgian,  Knowledge and Cultural neighbourhood, with two Cathedrals, three theatres ( Everyman, Unity and LIPA) the Victoria Gallery and Museum, the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, University and College departments, the National Trust's  Hardman's House all mixed up between an eclectic choice of independent restaurant and ale houses, all within five minutes of each other.

Hope street hotel has 89 rooms (including seven suites and two penthouses).  The style is urbane and with a fresh chic touch and a natural organic feel.  The simplicity of the design emphasises the original Victorian interior of pitch pine beams, brick walls and iron pillars, described by The Sunday Times as 'Isambard Kingdom Brunel meets Carrie Bradshaw'.  Rooms have sold birch or walnut floors, bespoke cherry wood furniture and huge oversized king beds draped in white Egyptian cotton.   All rooms include complimentary Cisco powered Wi-Fi, REN toiletries, Pellegrino and Panna mineral water.

The hotel restaurant The London Carriage Works is a destination restaurant in its own right and has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for the last seven years.

Hope street hotel is privately owned and independently run with an emphasis on friendliness, delicious food and thoughtful service.
