Liverpool is famous for many things; The Beatles, football and being very friendly (we were voted the UK’s friendliest city after all!), but one thing we’re also super proud of is our local dish, Scouse. 

Who doesn't love celebrating Shrove Tuesday with a lemon and sugar crêpe or a giant stack of American pancakes? We certainly do! It’s the only night of the year we can get away with having pancakes for dinner and not feel guilty about it so we’re very excited to indulge. 

Liverpool City Region is the perfect destination for a family city break in 2023. Not only do we have an array of museums, art galleries and attractions to enjoy, we are also blessed with a beautiful waterfront, parks and beaches across the city region to soak up all the fun.
