You might have seen it on pictures, but this year it's your chance to see it face-to-face. Liverpool ONE’s iconic tree will stand pride of place in the middle of the buzzing retail hub - 30 metres tall and emblazoned with 280 mesmerising heart lights, it’s the perfect backdrop for a shopping stroll. It just doesn’t get more festive.

Whether you’re with the kids, other half or mates, a seasoned theatre-goer or music-mad, you’ll fit right in this Christmas. Oh, and you can watch The Snowman with a live orchestra at Liverpool Cathedral on 23rd December if you're around as well. You’re welcome.

Over 5 metres tall with a boot size of 45, we think this might have been the largest Father Christmas you’ve ever set eyes on. Standing tall and proud at the Museum of Liverpool’s atrium for the second year, you’ll be able to see (and take a selfie) with the Santa that brought joy to around 10,000 visitors a week when it stood at Liverpool Blackler’s department store’s Winter Wonderland Grotto 1957 - 1988. We can’t wait.

When: From 16th November

Stroll down Peter’s Lane & MetQuarter for premium designer brands, head down South John Street to seek out the LEGO and Disney store or head towards Bold Street for some independent boutique bargains. One thing is for sure - you might end up coming back with more presents (for others or yourself) than you might have planned on, so pack light!

When: Late night shopping begins on 11th December at Liverpool ONE

15. To go Bavarian at Chavasse Park

A post shared by Chloe πŸš€ (@chloebrrws) on

There’s nowhere better to enjoy a festive hog roast, a German swing grill that serves traditional bratwursts, crepes and the delicious taste of real Bavarian Christmas treats.
