It’s hard to imagine that the renowned Hard Days Night Hotel has been open 10 years this year! The world’s only Beatles inspired hotel opened its doors in 2008, and has since won an abundance of awards from ‘Luxury Grand Hotel of The Year’ to ‘Wedding Venue of the Year’.

Based in a magnificent Grade II listed building, the building itself dates back to the late nineteenth century. In the heart of Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter there’s plenty to see and to do on the steps of the grand hotel. Hard Day's Night is located in the heart of Liverpool's 'Beatles Quarter', sitting adjacent to the world famous Cavern Club where the Beatles rose to fame.

The 'Fab Four' star hotel has 110 individually designed rooms and elegantly furnished with specially commisioned artwork and rare photographs. Looking for a truly unique experience? Check out the Lennon and McCartney suites, each decorated with original artefacts such as Sir Paul's Freedom of the City of Liverpool certifcate and a white baby grand piano in the Lennon Suite... plus, both have a pretty impressive roof top view of the City.

In keeping with the hotel’s theme, each of the hotels bars and restaurant house original Beatles inspired artwork. Blake's, the restaurant, is named after Sir Peter Blake, who created the artwork for Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club album. Blakes is covered wall to wall in original Beatles artwork including a mega centrepiece display 60 images of icons from the album's sleeve. The menu features traditional British dishes with a contemporary twist, perfect for a romantic dinner or large parties!

Bar Four at the Hard Day's Night Hotel is undoubtedly one of the city's must visit cocktail bars. With a chic and stylish vibe and an impressive drinks menu with specially themed cocktails such as 'The Yellow Submarine' and 'Strawberry Fields with Pepper'... prepare to be wowed!

There's plenty outside of the hotel for Beatles fans to discover. Mathew Street is just around the corner, home to the world-famous Cavern Club, Take a wander down this historic street and you’ll be welcomed by street buskers and the sounds of the Cavern Club’s daily residents. You'll also find a John Lennon statue and a musical ‘wall of fame’... perfect for a good selfie!

Mathew Street was also home to Eric’s, the famous club which was the centre of Liverpool’s punk scene and launched the careers of many influential bands including The Teardrop Explodes, Big in Japan and Echo and the Bunnymen.

Cavern Walks is the designer shopping centre on Mathew Street. Here you’ll find Cricket, Vivienne Westwood and Boudoir Boutique. Liverpool One is also just a short walk away, where you can find all of the city's high street shops and department stores.

As well as Blakes, there are plenty of amazing restaurants in the Cavern Quarter area. We'd reccomend trying Salt House Bacaro on Castle Street, or Casa Italia on Stanley Street which is just a little further down from the famous Eleanor Rigby statue.
