King’s Garden is a stunning 17 acre garden right in the middle of Southport - perfect for nature enthusiasts! Across the park you’ll come across stunning Victorian shelters, a venetian bridge and beautiful flower beds.
Across the year the park holds a number of events, so check here to see what’s going on! Also, if you fancy an early morning coffee their tea rooms are a perfect spot

Southport is a food lovers heaven. From the classic ‘Fish and Chips’ by the seaside to independent restaurants and well known chains.
Fish and chips - For lovers of the classic we recommend Silcocks Pier Fish & Chips on the promenade. This is Southport’s biggest fish and chips shop full of variety meaning you won’t go hungry. Choose to eat in and enjoy the views or take them away and have a stroll down the front, the choice is yours!
Independent - if you want to get a real Southport experience we’d definitely recommend 519 Lord Street. This is a family run, Italian restaurant serving up tasty dishes with the finest local ingredients. Pasta or pizza? It’s a hard decisioN!

LET'S HEAD TO THE BEACH
Southport is known as England’s original resort due to its long stretch of coast and stunning seaside! No trip to Southport is complete without a visit to the beach, so that’s where you’re off to next.
Southport Beach is home to the country’s second longest pier and boasts stunning views across the sea and Sefton Coast - did you know it’s 22 miles long?!
If you enjoy walking you will fall in love with the paths and trails through the dunes. Or if you prefer to take a more relaxing activity, grab an ice cream and sit as you listen to the waves go by.

THE ATKINSON
The Atkinson is Southport’s beautiful home for music, theatre, art, poetry, literature and history, located in the middle of Lord Street in Southport.
The interactive museum Between Land & Sea – 10,000 years of Sefton’s Coast displays a remarkable collection telling the story of local history from prehistoric times to modern day. The theatre and studio offer the very best in live entertainment with comedians, bands, lunchtime classical music concerts and more.

PEAKY BLINDERS
This one is strictly for those over the age of 18! Based on the popular TV series Peaky Blinders, this bar is perfect whether your a fan of the show or not! It has an impressive 15 draught beers and a load of independent bottle selection.
On a sunny day you can sit outside with a beer in hand watching the lively sights of Southport’s historic Lord Street, or on a cooler day gaze through the stunning panoramic windows.

DINNER
The Hungry Monk Ale House & Kitchen
Time for a tasty dinner - you'll need it after this action packed day! You can sample one of their speciality steaks cooked to perfection on their Inka oven, or go for something lighter like soup or a sandwich.
Every weekend there’s entertainment from live music to theatre performances and comedy nights, and with their quirky and warm atmosphere you will feel right at home!
