In this city you’re only ever a short drive away from a seaside summer holiday. Southport is to Liverpool, what Palm Springs is to California and the resort’s never ending wave of attractions and events make that summer feeling last all year round.

King’s Garden is a stunning 17 acre garden right in the middle of Southport - perfect for nature enthusiasts! Across the park you’ll come across stunning Victorian shelters, a venetian bridge and beautiful flower beds.

Across the year the park holds a number of events, so check here to see what’s going on! Also, if you fancy an early morning coffee their tea rooms are a perfect spot

Southport is a food lovers heaven. From the classic ‘Fish and Chips’ by the seaside to independent restaurants and well known chains.

Fish and chips - For lovers of the classic we recommend Silcocks Pier Fish & Chips on the promenade. This is Southport’s biggest fish and chips shop full of variety meaning you won’t go hungry. Choose to eat in and enjoy the views or take them away and have a stroll down the front, the choice is yours!

Independent - if you want to get a real Southport experience we’d definitely recommend 519 Lord Street. This is a family run, Italian restaurant serving up tasty dishes with the finest local ingredients. Pasta or pizza? It’s a hard decisioN!

Southport is known as England’s original resort due to its long stretch of coast and stunning seaside! No trip to Southport is complete without a visit to the beach, so that’s where you’re off to next.

Southport Beach is home to the country’s second longest pier and boasts stunning views across the sea and Sefton Coast - did you know it’s 22 miles long?!

If you enjoy walking you will fall in love with the paths and trails through the dunes. Or if you prefer to take a more relaxing activity, grab an ice cream and sit as you listen to the waves go by.
