1. GET THE OBVIOUS ONE OUT THE WAY - FERRY CROSS THE MERSEY

2. SEE A GIG AT WILLIAMSONS TUNNELS 

A heritage centre located in the Edge Hill area of the city, the tunnels were built between 1810 and 1840 - the purpose of the tunnels has been widely discussed, and we’re unsure of the conclusion other than they make a great venue for a night out


3. A WALK ALONG SOUTHPORT PIER, FOLLOWED BY FISH AND CHIPS 

Its Grade II listed and it's pretty big, being the second longest in Britain - but forget the facts and figures, it's beautiful and there’s nothing better than fish and chips by the sea.

4. HEAD TO THE TOP OF THE ANGLICAN CATHEDRAL 

Facts and figures say it's the 5th largest cathedral in Europe, but we think the views are easily in first place. In summer, the sunset from the tip top of this cathedral is like something out of a fairytale. Check out a twilight tour.

5. HEAD TO THE ROOF OF CENTRAL LIBRARY 

Not many people know that this beautiful building is not just a one trick pony, head to the roof for some pretty special views of William Brown Street at St George’s Hall.

6. HOLD A WEIRD AND WONDERFUL CREATURE AT WORLD MUSEUM AQUARIUM 

Don’t be squeamish, check out the creatures that share the world with us at the World Museum on William Brown Street.


7. ENJOY A PICNIC AT SEFTON PARK AND VISIT THE JEWEL IN THE CROWN - THE PALMHOUSE 

Hop on the train to St Michael’s station at make the walk up Lark Lane to Sefton Park, or hire a city bike and bike it up there


8. BEST OF BRITISH - INDULGE IN AFTERNOON TEA SPEKE HALL

Originally built in 1530, Speke Hall dates from the Tudor times. The stunning exterior and interior are a beautifully british accompaniment to cream tea and scones.

10. KNOCK ON AT BERRY AND RYE - LIVERPOOL'S VERY OWN SPEAKEASY

From Spring 2019, visitors will be able to go inside and to the top of Liverpool's most famous landmark - the Royal Liver Building! 81. WRITE A LOVE AND PEACE NOTE AT THE DOUBLE FANTASY EXHIBITION

Double Fantasy - John & Yoko, at Museum of Liverpool from 18 May 2018 to 22 April 2019, is a free exhibition, celebrating the meeting of two of the world’s most creative artists who expressed their deep and powerful love for one another through their art, music and film. 


82. TAKE A LOOK INSIDE LIVERPOOL TOWN HALL

Liverpool Town Hall can be seen from both Castle Street and within Exchange Flags. It's a beautiful 18th century, Grade I listed building in heart of Liverpool. The hall features a high dome, topped by a statue of Minvera, Goddess of Wisdom. Inside, visitors will find  the grandest suite of civic rooms in the country and a magnificent example of late Georgian decoration.


83. UNCOVER LIVERPOOL'S SECRET UNDERGROUND WWII BUNKER

Western Approaches played a pivotal role in the Battle of the Atlantic. Walk through hidden rooms and discover the stories locked in the wartime bunker that protected the tactics and secrets of the British Armed Forces plotting to protect Britain's sea supply routes and aid the Allied victory.
