Some love it, some loathe it. Some dine in, some dine out. Some stay at home, some go away. Whether you want to go crazy in love this Valentine's Day, or just fancy something a little bit subtle, we're giving you the ultimate list of things to do in Liverpool this day of St Valentine.

1. Take a romantic walk around the beautiful Grade 1 listed Sefton Park

The magnificent 200 acre park is the perfect place for a romantic stroll, or even a picnic. Watch the sun go down and admire the views across the boating lake.

2. Pair romance with history at Titanic Hotel

The most beautiful setting for your valentine’s night. The rooms at the Titanic Hotel are more than twice the size of your average hotel room. Enjoy a meal at the hotel restaurant Stanley’s Bar and Grill and relax with something fizzy on the terrace overlooking the Mersey docks.

3. View the city from above

Liverpool may have the sea running through its veins, but take their breath away with a helicopter ride over the city. Head over the city and take in the landmark views, Anfield, Goodison Park, Aintree and more.

4. Go ghetto with your golf

Teaching golf is definitely romantic isn’t it? Ghetto Golf in the Baltic Triangle part of town is crazy golf with a difference. It combines cocktails, street food, DJs and golf (obviously) in an old converted brewery.

5. A Lush Golden Slumber

Winter is over and the soothing smells of Lush are calling. In Liverpool we have a secret, our Lush has a SPA! Book you and your loved one... or just you, or just them for a treatment at the heart of natural beauty.

Think prosecco, rose petals and cupcakes – it’s the perfect way to spend valentine’s night!
