The most famous race in the world - the Randox Health Grand National is back at Aintree for the 172nd time this April!

There are still a number of tickets left for all three days of the Grand National festival - but you better move quick, as they sell out quickly!

GRAND NATIONAL THURSDAY - 4TH APRIL

Grand National Thursday celebrates North West sporting champions past and present, with a backdrop of incredible quality racing, followed by sensational live music and entertainment.

Ladies Day is full of colour, style and fashion as we celebrate individuality and creativity. Day two of the festival is #FabulousFriday, when all things style and fashion are in the spotlight.

This is the reason why many people across the globe stop for just over 8 minutes; the streets of Liverpool and beyond remain quiet, waiting and watching. Who will win – it could be any one of the 40 runners and riders that line up to face the ultimate challenge in Jumps racing.

The London Carriage Works have two options for you this Ladies Day - for £79 per person you can enjoy a champagne brunch, transport to and from Aintree Racecourse and a delicious post races dinner.

TRAVEL

Getting to Aintree Racecourse is super easy with Merseyrail! A 7 and a half minutes service will run between Liverpool City Centre and Aintree before and after the races on Grand National Thursday, Ladies Day and Grand National Day!

With 68 stations across Merseyside and Aintree station being just over the road from the racecourse, you can plan your journey with their handy journey planner HERE.

DON'T FORGET: After a long day at the races, Merseyrail will once again be handing out their FREE flipflops to help with the sore feet after wearing heels all day!
