We take Halloween very seriously in Liverpool so you’re in for a spook-tastic time if you’re heading this way for the scary season.

From terrifying tours, immersive cinema experiences and pumpkin patches to thrilling discos, horrifying mazes and a monster rave on a boat there are plenty of reasons to dig out your best costume. 

How brave will you be this halloween?  


SHIVERPOOL GHOST TOUR

For a good old scare and a bit of history at the same time, you can't go wrong with a Shiverpool Ghost Tour. The award winning theatrical ghost tour takes you round the city’s famous locations to uncover their hidden histories and mysteries. So grab your coat and hold on tight to your mate, you never know what or who you might come across.  


FLOATING HALLOWEEN POP-UP CINEMA AT ROYAL ALBERT DOCK

For the ultimate cinema experience head over to the Royal Albert Dock to watch frientening films floating on the famous waters. Pull up a deck chair, grab a blanket and settle in for some spooky classics. Showing everything from Hocus Pocus, Psycho, Rocky Horror Picture Show and loads more, there is something for everyone. 


FARMAGGEDON

It doesn't get much scarier than a trip to Farmageddon during the Halloween season, trust us, we’ve been! The award-winning scream park at Farmer Ted’s in Ormskirk is waiting to scare the living daylights out of you. Venture down into their scare mazes aptly dubbed; The Beast of Terror, Contagion and The Meat Locker, to see if you make it out alive. 

This year make sure to visit the Zombie Arms for a refreshing drink afterwards - you’ll probably need it. 


HALLOWEEN AT BALTIC MARKET

The Baltic Market are going spooky this Halloween and filling their street food market with loads of tricks and treats. From October 31st to November 3rd you can expect themed cocktails, the grim reaper on the decks and terrifying food. Fancy dress is highly encouraged so make sure you dig out your best scary costume for this Halloween weekend rave.

ZOMBIES UNLEASHED AT LIVERPOOL ONE

Beware! Zombies have been unleashed and have taken over Liverpool ONE! Your task is to hunt, capture and battle the undead in a bid to save yourself but watch out, they are hidden on every street corner…

Download Zombies Unleashed from the App Store or Google Play to find all eight zombies and climb up the leaderboard. This won’t be your usual trip to Liverpool ONE. 


FRIGHT NIGHT FILM SHOWINGS AT THE PALM HOUSE

For a frightening film screening in a stunningly spooky setting, head over to the Palm House in Sefton Park for their Halloween movie nights. Get yourself settled in the glass house under the stars for showings of The Shining, 28 Days Later, The Blair Witch Project and Nosferatu - you’ll be on the edge of your seat all night. 


MONSTER BALL AT THE PALM HOUSE

The kids will love this Monster Ball at the Palm House during the October half term. Head over for the spooky party of the year for dancing, games, creepy crafts, prizes for the best fancy dress costume and a film showing. They will be showing Hocus Pocus, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, Hotel Transylvania and The Addams Family over the five nights so pick your favourite night! 


RAW: HALLOWEEN IN THE PALM HOUSE

On November 1st RAW returns to the Palm House for a Halloween Special like no other. Taking over the glass house with a night of house and dance music, expect high quality production with special guest DJs in a stunning setting. Also, as it’s Halloween, fancy dress is highly encouraged! 


PUMPKIN PICKING 

For something a little less scary but just as fun, pumpkin picking is the answer. The whole family can get involved in picking the perfect pumpkin for carving those spooky faces for Halloween. Head over to the Pumpkin Patch in Hightown from Saturday 5th October till the 31st October to grab your favourite one. 

Don’t forget the wellies! 


HALLOWEEN AT YARD & COOP

Take the kids down to Yard & Coop for a Halloween party between 11am - 1pm on 27th October. For just £1 per child they will will be treated to a spooky quiz, games, fancy dress and they get to eat for free with a full paying adult. 


HOWL-O-WEEN PUPPY PARADE

Halloween wouldn’t be complete without the annual Howl-O-Ween Puppy Parade in Liverpool on 27th October. Head down to Brewdog on Colquitt Street with your pet pooch in their finest Halloween costume for a party like no other. There will be petrifying pup cakes, dog beer and prizes fo the best costume. 

The £1 entry fee for the Best Dressed Competition also goes to Dogs Trust Merseyside so it’s all for a good cause. 


H A L L O Q U E E N B A L L

The Florist are hosting their first ever H a L L o Q u E E n B a L L on 31st October so get your Halloween costume ready! It will be a night of terrifying music, sickening face paint and the chance to see your future at one of the mythical fortune readers. Top it off with some spooky cocktails and hair raising entertainment and you’re in for a terrifying night. 


SCARE PROJECTS AT CAMP AND FURNACE

If you can handle a good scare then Scare Projects at Camp and Furnace is for you this Halloween. From 24th October to 3rd November head into the secret Asylum for a tour of multiple installations that will send shivers down your spine - it’s not one for the faint hearted.

During half term there will also be the Candy Cavern for the kids to enjoy some spooky entertainment including face painting, games, films and loads more! 


MONSTER MASH HALLOWEEN DISCO CRUISE

Get your fancy dress costumes ready for this special Monster Mash Halloween Disco on Mersey Ferries. On Thursday 31st October jump aboard the spooky cruise as the live DJ blasts blood-curdling beats so you can show off your best Thriller dance moves. 


LIVERPOOL DISCO FESTIVAL - HALLOWEEN SPECIAL 

Liverpool Disco Festival is returning to the Baltic Triangle on Saturday 2nd November for a Halloween special. Dubbed, Disco Inferno, the heat will be on for another round of huge disco acts to dance the night away.  


CLASSIC QUEEN: HALLOWEEN AT THE CAVERN CLUB

The 31st October 2019 marks 49 years to the day that Queen played the original Cavern Club in 1970 so what better way to celebrate than with a Classic Queen show by Dr Strangelove. It’s also the perfect excuse to dig out some Queen themed Halloween costumes too!

SPOOKY WELLY WALK

The Spooky Welly Walk is returning to Sefton Park this year on Saturday 19th October for a whole day of family fun in aid of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. This year’s event is bigger than ever before so you and the kids can get up to all sorts of activities. From spooky storytelling to creepy crafts, sporting activities and sensory activities from Chester Zoo the whole family will have a great day out for a good cause.
