Get ready for a proper Scouse Christmas!

Christmas in Liverpool is nothing but traditional and magical. But, if you’re looking for something a bit different to do this festive season then we have you covered.

From meeting Father Christmas in a tropical grotto to an adult only panto, a train that takes you to the North Pole and a roast dinner themed pizza; there’s something for everyone - even if you class yourself as a Grinch!

Head to the most festive bar around

The festive bar and grotto for grown ups, Miracle on Seel Street, is back for Christmas 2019! With festive drinks and seasonal snacks, comfy armchairs and plenty of Christmas films to settle down to, leave the kids at home for this one and have a Chritmassy night out with your friends.

Explore a Liverpool landmark this Christmas

After the success of the Summer and Halloween floating cinemas at the Royal Albert Dock, a Christmas themed run of films will be gracing the waters this festive season.

With the likes of Love Actually, Elf, The Grinch and loads more on the line up, you’ll be able to snuggle under the blankets and heaters with some festive food and drink for the ultimate cinema experience.

There’s also a huge light display on the side of The Merseyside Maritime Museum alongside nearly one million twinkling lights illuminating the 86 ionic columns along the dock.

With plenty of places to shop, eat, drink and take in our rich culture - Christmas on the Royal Albert Dock will be magical for the whole family.

Visit a Christmas paradise

If the cold isn't your thing this time of year then head to the Palm House at Sefton Park to meet Father Christmas in his tropical grotto. You’ll be able to find rest bite from the frost and look at how people celebrate christmas all around the world.

Have a festive laugh

If you fancy a laugh this Christmas then head over to the Hot Water Comedy Club for their festive special! This won't be your usual Christmas night out as you listen to some of the biggest up and coming comedians on the scene make a festive joke or two. Pop to their new cocktail bar next door pre or post show for a bit of a Christmas tipple too.

Win big at a Christmas quiz

Ya Nan’s Big Quiz & Sing Along is back this Christmas and bigger than ever at Camp and Furnace. She’s already got the Baileys on ice, the Christmas jumpers have been knitted and the festive bangers are ready to go for this Christmas quiz like no other.

Head to The Baltic Triangle

The Baltic Market is that popular at Christmas they up their opening hours to five days a week so we can all spend as much time down there as possible! This year they’re going all out with gift markets, live music, farmers markets, the ever popular dog grotto, festive food, hot gin and tonics and of course all the wonderful food stalls.

It’s the perfect place to throw on your Christmas jumper and get in the festive spirit.
