It is estimated that three quarters of Liverpool’s population have Irish roots so it’s a little wonder that we go all out when it comes to St. Patrick’s Day!

Nicknamed ‘The Second Capital of Ireland” Liverpool has plenty of ways to celebrate the big day with a good old craic. Whether you’re visiting the city, are a local Scouser or are originally from Ireland, you’ll be able to paint the town green whatever you get up to!

We’ll see you on 17 March - let’s get the Guinness in!

The Baltic Market are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day early this year with a special Paddy’s Day Weekender from 12-14 March. Expect lots of shamrocks, shenanigans and showers of Guinness as they bring a little bit of Dublin to the Baltic Triangle.

Celebrate by watching the St. Patrick’s Day Parade march around the city as four marching bands play a whole host of classic Irish music. They’ll be meeting at the old Irish Centre on Mount Pleasant at 2pm, starting the march at 3pm and ending on Hanover Street’s O’Neill’s Irish Bar.

Camp and Furnace are going all out this Paddy’s Day with an evening full of Irish craic on 17 March. There will be a live Irish band, huge drinking hall, non-stop Irish hits, Paddy’s Day cocktails, lots of Guinness and food stalls to celebrate the day in style.

Punch Tarmey’s in The Baltic Triangle are throwing a St. Patrick’s Day Extravaganza at Liverpool’s biggest Irish pub! Kicking off at 11am there will be live music, entertainment, Irish pub grub, DJ, dancers and loads more.

You’ll also be in with the chance of winning a trip to Dublin so it’s definitely worth heading along.
