The colder months are the perfect time to settle down with a good book and a cup of tea and what better place to treat yourself to a new one than at one of Liverpool’s independent book shops. Take a look at News from Nowhere, Kernaghan Books or Reid of Liverpool to see if there is anything that takes your fancy. They’ll definitely appreciate your support.

๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ We are OPEN again! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ We're delighted to be officially open once more! Please note: There are a few changes to our opening hours, and to the layout of the shop: ๐Ÿ•ฐ Our new opening hours are now Tuesday to Saturday, from 11am to 5pm (we are currently closed on Sundays and Mondays). ๐Ÿงผ The shop has been cleaned and we have cleared and reorganised to make as much space as possible for customers and workers to move around at a safe distance from each other. We have screens at the till and at other work areas inside the shop. ๐Ÿงด We will provide hand sanitiser at the shop entrance - please use it before handling any books or other items. Please wear a mask or face-covering inside the shop, unless you are exempt. Please pay by card instead of cash whenever possible. We will make sure that the shop does not become too crowded, and will limit the number of people inside the shop when it is necessary to do so. ๐Ÿ“š For the time being we will not be selling secondhand books and cannot accept donations of secondhand books, sorry. This is because we are now using what used to be the secondhand books area as extra work and storage space, to make it easier for us to work safely, because our back-office area is too small. โฌ†๏ธโฌ‡๏ธ We also will not be displaying posters or leaflets at present, sorry. This is so that we can keep the shop entrance area as clear and tidy as possible, so that it is easier for people to move safely and quickly past each other as they enter or exit. โค๏ธ Do come in for a browse - we're really looking forward to seeing you all again! Thanks, everyone! Lots of love from all the NfN team ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒโค๏ธ #nfnbooks #newsfromnowhere #books #bookstagram #bookshop #fiction #hardbackbooks #paperbackbooks #shoplocal #independentliverpool #supportyourindependents #liverpool
