Let your soul sing with the dazzling multi-award winning Dreamgirls at Liverpool Empire Theatre this December. Direct from the West End, the spectacular musical production features the classic songs ‘And I Am Telling you I’m Not Going’, ‘Listen’, ‘I Am Changing’ and ‘One Night Only’, the perfect way to spend a night out this Christmas. Running from 14 December to 1 January 2022 get your tickets quick as it’s looking very popular. 


The Royal Albert Dock is magical any time of year but it’s extra special at Christmas. Take a walk around the Dock following their Christmas Light Walk map to explore all the lights then when you’re finished warm up inside one of their bars or restaurants with a cosy drink or delicious meal.

There is nothing more festive than a performance at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall at Christmas. From Love Actually In Concert to the Spirit of Christmas, Santa’s Countdown to Christmas and a screening of It’s a Wonderful Life there is so much to see to get into the festive spirit.


If you’re looking for the perfect spot to grab a festive selfie then there are plenty of Christmas Trees in Liverpool that will make for the ultimate backdrop. Head over to Liverpool ONE for a heart themed snap, Church Street to see the huge real tree and Williamson Square to walk through their dazzling tree. There are so many to add to your Liverpool collection. 



For a festive breakfast, The Quarter in the Georgian Quarter is the perfect place to head. Sit amongst the cobbled streets in the shadow of both Cathedrals and enjoy a full English breakfast and a coffee before your day out. 


We love Moose Coffee that much in Liverpool there are three venues for you to pick from! Head over to Dale Street, Hope Street or Princes Dock to dig into their fluffy pancakes or moose breakfast with a hot drink to warm you up for the day ahead. 


If you follow a plant based diet then The Vibe is the place for you. The vegan cafe has all the usual breakfast favourites and a special Holiday Hash Stack for if you’re feeling a bit festive. 



Go all out for lunch and enjoy festive Punk Afternoon Tea at the Baltic Social. This isn’t your average afternoon tea instead of finger sandwiches and scones, you’ll dig into turkey sliders, festive sausage rolls, cheese board, mince pies and so much more. Indian street food guru, Bundobust are back with their festive menu as the famous Sprout Bhaji returns. You can even take it to the next level with a Sprout Bhaji Butty or a Festive Curry and end your meal with Bundo’s Christmas Kulfi - you can’t really go wrong at Bundobust. 



The Art School are back this Christmas with something very special and pulling out all the stops for their festive menus. At the helm is Patron Chef Paul Askew who has curated a series of menus and hampers that brings you all of the Art School extravagances that you know and love. Maray are pretty famous for their dishes around Christmas time. From their festive mezze you can pick from all sorts of treats including Maray crispy sprouts, pigs in blankets, disco cauliflower and lots more for a Christmas night out not to forget.


Christmas at Lu Ban is always special thanks to their beautiful festive menus. The restaurant ran by renowned Chef Dave Critchley takes inspiration from dishes from the Chinese region of Tianjin and have a special three course Christmas menu full of beautiful dishes for a bit of a twist on the traditional celebrations. You can also enjoy Festive Bottomless Brunch as the servers bring round dishes in waves for 90 minutes, perfect for some celebrations.
