The Museum of Liverpool have recently reopened their Wondrous Place Gallery that celebrates the city’s staggering roll call of trailblazing entertainers, musicians, sports people and so much more! The free exhibition features the iconic Beatles grey suits, Spice Girls stage costumes and so much more from the city’s musical creativity.

If there’s one thing we know how to do in Liverpool it’s put on a show and there are so many venues in the city for you to enjoy all kinds of music to dance the night away to. From huge international touring acts at the M&S Bank Arena to contemporary classical performances at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, DJ sets at 24 Kitchen Street and intimate gigs at Jimmys - there’s something for everyone.

If musical theatre is more your thing then we have plenty of theatres for you to take a seat at a show. Liverpool Empire Theatre welcomes the biggest musicals straight off the West End while Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Theatres showcase the best touring productions and local talent.

You can’t go wrong with breakfast at Lucy In The Sky just off Dale Street. Not only is it named after a Beatles song but they do beautiful breakfast dishes to set you up for a day exploring Liverpool.
Dine in a bit of musical history at The Cavern Club Restaurant on Mathew Street for something to eat. They’ve got all the classics on their menu from burgers to fish and chips, and our local dish, scouse.
